About Diaolancq
Founded in Toronto in 2016, Diaolancq began with a single improvised detour over the Canadian wilderness. Today, we design and operate curated aerial journeys across ten provinces, guided by one belief: the sky belongs to those who seek more than a destination.
One Detour That Became a Company
In the summer of 2016, a routine scenic flight over the Canadian Shield took an unexpected turn. The pilot, noticing a chain of glacial lakes absent from any tourist chart, deviated from the planned route. The passengers on board — a family celebrating a retirement — were so moved by the view that they asked to fly again the following week, bringing friends.
Word spread quietly, then quickly. Within a year, what had been a single improvised detour became a small collection of curated routes. Within three years, Diaolancq was operating across four provinces with a dedicated team of flight designers, pilots and ground coordinators.
Today, the company operates over twenty signature and custom routes, serves guests from across North America and Europe, and maintains a fleet of purpose-configured aircraft chosen for silence, panorama and comfort.

Personal Over Transactional
Every guest is met by name, not by booking reference. Our flight designers visit clients at home, remember preferences from previous flights and treat each journey as a personal commission, not a product sale.
Safety Without Compromise
All aircraft operate under Transport Canada regulations. Pilots carry a minimum of 5,000 flight hours. Weather decisions are made conservatively, and no schedule pressure ever overrides a safety call.
Respect for the Land
Canada's wilderness is not a backdrop — it is the reason we fly. We partner with conservation organizations, offer SAF fuel options and design routes that minimize noise impact on wildlife corridors.

The People Behind the Flights
Diaolancq is led by Managing Director Bryce Ellington, who has overseen the company's growth from a single-aircraft operation to a multi-province aviation service. Under his direction, the company has maintained a 4.9 guest rating across more than a thousand completed flights.
Our team includes senior pilots with backgrounds in commercial aviation and military service, flight designers with training in landscape architecture and photography, and ground coordinators who manage every logistical detail from hotel transfers to catering allergies.
